SOURCE: No pressure to drive swing arm.

Check first that no debris is blocking the holes in the spray arm where the water comes out, and clean out the holes. In case it will not solve your problem, it's look like a pump problem (the pump has two functions : drive water to the spray arms and to drain water out the washer). Open the rear panel and listen if the pump works during the wash cycle. In case it doesn't work, it should be replaced. Good luck !

SOURCE: jet pump does not pump water

I had a similar problem and as a last resort took the pump apart and cleaned it and the jet. It's a very old pump but works ok now.

SOURCE: Problem with Convertible Jet Pump 3/4HP RedLion -

If I understand you correctly this is what you have:

- A pump that draws water from a lake 300 feet from lake to your cabin (I assume the pump is at the cabin)

- The pump kicks on to maintain pressure in a tank that distributes water to faucets in the cabin. The pump only turns on to pressurize the tank when water is being used (I am assuming).

- When you turn on tap, pressure in the pressure tank drops to 30 psi, then you hear water sucking from the tank to tap and flow stops at tap. Then the pump finally kicks back on and pressures tank to 23 psi.

- The pump is not used regularly.

If water flow stops when the pressure tank is reading 25 psi, then likely the real pressure is 0 psi and pressure gauge is reading wrong. If this gauge is tied into a switch that starts and stops the pump, then this is probably your problem. You may have partial blockage in your pressure gauge/switch that is causing gauge to move too slowly to keep up with the actual pressure changes when water is being used. Ore the pressure gauge/switch may be broken. Pressure gauges are notorious for reading pressure when there is none. If you can unplug the pump and disconnect the pressure gauge/switch and check for blockage in the ports you should start there. You mentioned that this worked good for the last two summers, if if sits unused for long periods, it could promote bio-growth, rust and/or sediment in the connection to the pressure gauge. If you find blockage, remove it and flush it out. Reinstall the pressure gauge/switch and try it again.

One other possibility is clogged strainer(s) / filter(s) in the water lines. It would not hurt to pull and check/clean any strainers / filters in the system including before the pump. I would even check at the lake for a strainer where the water enters the suction line to the cabin.

I would not assume that the pump is the problem yet.

Hope this helps.

New pump-pump works fine for 2 seconds--loses pressure--spray goes from 10-12 ft to zero...wait for pressure to build back up and works fine for 2 sec....start over....pump unusable like this

Air leak somewhere between the pump and the spray tip (s).
that will incllude the 25 gallon tank as a possible place to check for leaks!

Did you drain the pump in the fall? Cracked housing or blown gasket.

When i park car and get out the front release air and front drops down to almost on tires when i start it back up it airs up and everything seams fine is this normal

this is not normal.you could have a pressure hold valve that isn`t holding pressure when the car is shut off causing this or something in the system causing it,and when you start the car the compressor starts and pumps up and the ride height returns.these are difficult systems to find the problem so i would suggest you take it to shop that can do this type of work or the dealer and get it fixed.

We have an 1hp jet pump pulling water from a 3000gal holding tank below the pump and pressure tank. when we prime the system and bleed out the air the irrigation works properly, the pump starts and stops...

depending on the motors style of start-up, if you have a centrifugal type of start winding switch, your motor may be trying to start on the run winding due to a defective contact on the centrifugal switch, if it is a capacitor type starer, you might have a defective capacitor once again the motor is trying to start on the run winding, a way to find out is to be there and listen to the motor when it tries to start and trips the barker, if the motor emits a loud humming noise you have a fault with the start-up winding control device, if the picture supplied with your post is correct the capacitor is the long cylindrical thing at the top of the motor, you can remove this and bring it to a motor shop, they can test this for you

Karcher G 3000 BH Engine Pumping Problem

This may not be a motor problem. It sounds like your pump is not working properly and the motor is just following the pump. First thing to do is check for leaks in the pump, wand hose, gun etc. It may also be a blown water seal inside the pump.

Annovi pump wont build pressure

try force feeding the pump first, this can help to clear any dirt which might be in the valves.
you have 6 valves which are all the same , but 3 are suction and 3 are for pressure.
just take them out and put under a slow dripping tap and fill with water, if the water holds inside the valve will be ok, if it leaks just check for dirt.
hope that helps
