When? When, at the time pump turns off?
or... When everything has been off for a while, and there is no more water in the pump? Or another words, loses prime during off time?
check for air leaks on pressure side of pump. If there is an air leak on suction side of pump, then the filter canister will build up air within it, and while the pump is on it is compressing the air, just like an air compressor, in the filter tank. And then at the time the pump turns off all the water will be blown back the way it came, because of the pressure that was developed and built up in the filter tank! If this is the case, locate that section leak on the suction side of the pump... Check all union connections, for bad seals/orings, or threaded connections for a bad Teflon tape or silicone sealant connection, etc. etc. any point of entry for air to get into the plumbing system is not good.

My Gaggia Titanium has an ventilate problem when it is stil cold. After starting up, autotest and running pump, it appears whit message ventilate. It takes a long time steaming or hot water after the

The ventilate sign appears as an error message to tell operator that the flow of water is reduced. I can tell that the machine has not been descaled or was descaled using unscrupulous products that are labeled as descaler but they are not.
Because the sign disappears at this time after flushing water through the steam pipe, the flow restores the sensing that water is flowing normal. This "apparent restoration" of water flow is without any back pressure. The espresso function is restored for limited use.
This error code if not corrected immediately, it will not disappear and not allow any function even after flushing water manually.
The flow meter registers the quantitative flow of water as programmed for espresso.
Please descale the machine as soon as possible. before the 'Ventilate' error message stops all functions.
This is a well designed machine. Needs more attention to maintenance.

I have a 1hp sta-rite above ground pool pump. The pump model number is MPRA6E-147L The pump is about 4 years old, and during our summers it runs about 12 hours a day (May through September) and during...

It sounds like there was a lack of water to the reservoir, which is, I assume the inlet reservoir with the basket strainer in it.
1. Is your water level in the pool high enough to keep the reservoir full?
2. There is an o-ring or gasket on the reservoir cover, is it there and lubricated so there is no air leakage?
3. Put a garden hose into the open reservoir to see if the pump moves this water out.
Do all of this with the filter set to just go back to the pool so you can see the results.
Try this and comment back.
Good Luck,
Gary

The flow in my filter seems to be fine, but the filter says otherwise. The light goes on showing "Low Flow". Beeping occurs and a 90 appears where I set the timer, and it flashes as the filter beeps. Why...

hello,
who are we to say the flow is fine? there is no way of putting your hand to the discharge tube and being able to calculate gallons per hour coming out
Start by removing your flow sensor and wiggling it back and fourth
now spray it hard with a garden hose.
Also do this with your electro cell but no vinegar this time.
Put it back together
now blow your cartridge out spray hard between every fold top to bottom this should really be done every day with these cheap intex pumps

make sure you have your bleeder knobs open slightly
turn on pump and after a minute or so close them back up
This should do the trick for you

No water flow in pump

The impeller in the pump unit could be broken. If there is water flow into the pump, but no flow back to the pool, the impeller is most likely broken.
Make sure the hoses are not hooked up backwards.

Exactly the same problem. Washed a small area rug that appeared to have pretty much disintegrated. Machine would not drain. Got the same e 20 code. Checked the drain hose, and it was fine. Reamed the house drain just to be sure. Drum appears to have drained, but now the motor runs, and no water enters the machine. Both water hoses are flowing. No further error codes. Nada.
