Question about Building Materials
Your first problem is you bought a digidoor garage door opener. But check their website, or call the manufacture. You will either be able to download the manual or have to buy a one directly.

Have you tried the manufacturers site at either craftsman or sears. You should be able to find it there. You will need your model #.

did you use the manual release to unlatch the door from the opener? You may have a problem with the door binding and opening it manually will confirm that. You may also have misaligned the sensors at the base of the door so check that too.

Well sounds like its a pressure setting. you said you open the door by hand? Was it easy to do? Ask your self this can a 15 year old kid open it and close it? If so then it sounds like its a presure setting There should be two blue slots on your opener with numbers 1-9 says up and down force. Turn the up force towards the bigger number. Just a little bit. But before you do that as the other guy stated make sure that your cables and springs are working. Spring depending on your doors can be in three places but we going to assume you has the most common set up so look over the top of your door (with it closed) you should eb able to see a tube running across there. and somewhere in the in middle a set of spring look at the spring to make sure that you dont see any of the tube showing in the springs. Becare not to touch the spring as they are under a lot of stress.

SOURCE: Manual for Sears
You need first to get the correct model number of your opener. It is on the end of the opener closest to the garage door and starts with 139.
Then you can go to this site and download a free manual.

Owners manuals are easy to find with the manufacturers name and model number. Make sure it is plugged in and the circuit breaker isn't open.
