If you don't have a converter box from previous frequencys to the new digital, which you are citing, you're out of luck. It may be time to find a lightly used digital. The converter box may be difficult to find and it's cost would give you a good start for the digital tv. Perhaps a combination tv and computer monitor if you are thinking about a new monitor.

Have lines up and down screen

If your lines are vertical, you have horizontal problem. Vertical lines are a result of an aging TV. It would not be feasible to repair this. There has been an overworked Flyback transformer, Horizontal transistor and regulator and an aging picture tube. It is time to find another TV.

TV loose power, then regain it...off/on 20-30 times a minute

It's trying to speak to you... it wants you to repair it. It must be where the relay is that turns the tv on with the remote control. All aging electronics needs the electrolytic capacitors replaced. When they age they throw the voltage off and cause many other parts to blow up. Aging solder joints could be a factor too. look for parts that have been overheating. The circuit board may have parts desoldering themselves and or overheating the circuit traces.

Aiwa TV MODEL No. TV-A149 AGING

I have Aiwa TV MODEL No. TV-A149
The problem that I am suddenly facing is that I can't change channels or volume or use any other function. I can't even turn it off with remote control.

Its stuck randomly on a particular channel that I was watching at that point of time.

Along with that channel it now shows a message in flashing red color that reads :-
AGING
6EDEH

Now when I press ''Display'' button on remote control volume goes off and this code is shown :-
S123 K234 Y
100 000 0

The numbers in the second line can be navigated by ''CH+'' button and changed between 0 and 1 by ''Vol+'' button.

I really don't know anything about this. So, please help me out of this problem.

Phillip TV show aging on screen

Your screen may need degaussing. The symptoms are colored blotches, usually around the edges of the screen. This is caused by magnetism in the screen itself . If this is the case a repair person can use a tool called a degaussing wand to remove the magnetism and fix the picture. Some TVs have the ability to do this themselves, it depends on the brand and model

First off, do you not know Internet etiquette? Caps are considered yelling or shouting! So please! head You have the typical convergence failure of the convergence correction IC's. They BOTH need to be replaced. If you have no solid state printed circuit board experience, play it safe and call in a pro to assist you in this repair. Good Luck
