How do you set the system date and time

To set the Date & Time, go into the BIOS setting - date 7 time.
When you set the Date & Time and you get this error again when you next boot up your computer, then most likely you have a flat BIOS battery.
Then replace this battery, it could be a coin size battery - 3 volt lithium battery type CR2032. and then go into the BIOS setting and set the Date & Time.

Bad back-up battery

If the computer cannot keep the Date and Time after you set it and when you boot up next time the Date and Time has changes or not set then the BIOS battery is flat and needs to be replaced.
When you remove the case the BIOS battery most likely will be a coin size 3volt lithium battery, type CR2032.
After replacing the BIOS battery, boot up the computer and go into the BIOS setting and set the Date & Time etc.

Date time not set

When you change the date and Time to the correct Date and Time and when you next boot up the laptop the Date and Time is lost. Then this is caused by a flat BIOS battery which cannot keep these setting stored in the BIOS.
Replace the BIOS battery then go into the BIOS setting to set the Date and Time and this will fix your problem.

My system time and date is not set

Go into the BIOS settings then to the Date and Time and set the Date and Time, Save the settings and Exit.
IWhen you boot up later and the Date and Time is incorrect then the BIOS battery is flat and a new replacement battery is needed. The BIOS battery keeps the laptop's configuration plus the Date and Time settings unless the battery is flat.

Laptop date and time setting get disturbed automatically when i reboot my laptop

When you boot up and the Date & Time is wrong then you correct the Date & Time, then when you shut down and boot up again the Date and Time has changed. This is an indication that the BIOS battery is flat and you need to replace the BIOS battery. Install a new BIOS battery, go into the BIOS setting and set the Date & Time etc. and the new battery will keep your settings stored in the BIOS.
