Is the outlet pipe blocked. Check this as sometimes the water gets backed up and this is sensed and an error is displayed

How to fix drain-spin problem after overloading in wash...?

Owner's manual no manual? Try MFG website or email their customer service, or try
manualslib.com
Warranty still valid? try that, Also could be a
"hidden" recall. But the MFG definitely needs to know about these kind of problems.

Flashing code f05

F05 indicates no drain or pressure switch jammed on full. If it's full of water you need to drain this down first.

Take the cover off below the front panel, you may find a filter there. Put a container down and some towels.

Slacken the filter a little and drain the water. Tighten the filter to stop the water. Continue doing this till the water stops, then take the filter out, clean out the debris, ensure the pump is free to turn.

If your machine doesn't have a filter, pull the machine out and drop the hose into a bucket or wash basin. Raise the hose to stop the flow of water while you empty the bucket or basin. Once empty, unplug the appliance, tilt it back 45 degrees (assistance would be good), take the screws holding the pump in place and drop it out through the bottom. Take the hoses off, clear the debris and reassemble. If there is no water in the machine, unplug the appliance, take the lid off, locate the pressure switch, give it a few good taps with the screwdriver handle, take the thin tube off and blow down it hard to clear any debris. Reassemble.

Try the machine again. If the F05 persists then you're potentially looking at new electronic control board for the appliance.

Hope this helps and just keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using FixYa.

My machine is not draining and f05 is displayed

Hi.

F05 means that there is a drain problem. Either rain cannot completer or the pressure switch detects that machine is full.

Disconnect power and empty water accessing the drain filter, which is usually located at the front bottom side of the appliance, behind a kick panel on the right. If the problem comes back test the machine with the drain hose at the back going on a bucket, low near the floor. Drain hose may be blocked or may use incorrect height settings (check manual). If F05 is prompted when there is no water, then the problem is the pressure switch located in control panel. Clean the long thin hose connected to pressure switch. If that does not work, then replace pressure switch.

Regards.

Wf 860 error code f05 psi switch jammed on full - machine had not emptied water. Is this faulty switch or blocked pump etc?

F05: possible draining (pumping off) problem, check the pump filter, or pump, outlet pipe, or U-BEND.

Check for blockage first.

Hi I have a hotpoint washing machine model wt761 and it has stopped working, it will not drain. The display is showing an error code F-05. Can you help me please.

You have a blockage not allowing the drum to empty.
Check for blockages via the pump filter and the hoses
F05 means blocked pressure switch
If it still won't work come back to me

My washe keeps reading either F04 or F05

F04 - Pressure switch jammed on empty while F05 is a blocked filter.
Check that the pump is working o/k, if it seems o/k and it drains o/k, then you have no alternative than to call an engineer.
This really is your only option.
Plz rate my solution
Thanks.
