My charger plug broke off my charger cord and is stuck in the port of my tablet. How do I fix it myself?

If I am reading you correctly the charger port from the charger has been lodged in the tablet. Get some tweezers and pull it out very very carefully. Hopefully no damage has been done. Buy a new charger afterwards.

The originalcharger is replaced by another one but charging process is not occured.

Hello,if the charger is replaced by another and it still does not charge,I would advice you use that same charger on somebody elses phone,if it still doesn't charge I will suggest you are having a charging port problem, which then means you have to visit an authorized repair man to help you fix that either by replacing the bad charging port or get it serviced.
Wish you good luck,
Take care.

My charging port is either broke or loose on my blackberry storm 2. is this part repairable?

Hi, the charging port will need replacing this can be done at a cost, it would be worth getting done for that phone but the cheapest option would be to take it to one of those small independent phone shops and ask them about the repair, these will charge a lot less than the bigger branded shops and they should be able to get it done a lot quicker as they wont need to send the phone off.
this repair is worth doing for that phone so have a shop around and see what prices you can get, are you sure the problems is with the port and not with the charger, take the phone into the phone shop and ask them to test it for you to tell you if its the port or the charger they wont charge for telling you this but at least then you will know exactly what is at fault.

let me know if you need further assistance ok

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

My nokia E71 wont chrage. its not the battery or the charger

Where the plug goes into the phone has seperated from the phones mother board or the pins are damaged. Look into the plug area, and try to wiggle with a tooth pick.  Some Nokia's you can replace that part others is more complicated process needing intricate soldering job to the motherboard.

Try flashing the phone to see if it's a simple software problem.
Then replace or repair that charger port.
Sometimes individual parts like this can be purchased from the back-yard Mr.Fix it, like myself or from or
Look for free shipping and good prices! Read carefully any agreements to make certain that it is the exact part that you need, and not just part of that part.

My blackberry will not take a charge

Have a look at the pins on the mini-USB port on the side of the phone. The ends of the small wires should all be in a row resting on the bottom (towards the back side of the phone) of the tiny slots they are in. 2 of mine were not, and it would not charge because of this. I fixed mine with the following procedure (warning! semi-delicate surgery, but easy if you're near-sighted. Will void warranty, I'm sure, so just have it replaced if you're still covered by one):

Insert a small amount of the wire from a twist-tie into the slot, pushing the end of the offending USB wire down even with the others (if it doesn't fit snug, find bigger wire).

Snip off the twist-tie as close as you can with a small pair of nail clippers, then push the remaining wire in flush with a knife point.

Apply a *small* amount of super glue to the end of the wire you just pushed in flush to keep it in place.

Worked for me, your milage may vary depending on how good you are with maniplulating teeny things.

You have 3 options when the charge port breaks.

1. get it repaired, warrant if possible
2. Get a new one
3. Get an external battery charger and charge battery separate from phone. Another battery and charger will set you back about 10 dollars on ebay.

I had this problem. I fixed it myself. The gold connector inside where you plug the charger in was not making contact so it would not charge the battery. I opened my gps and with a small screw driver i pushed the gold connector out so it would make contact with the charger. It works great now. I found this out after buying new car charger, home charger and battery and it still would not charge.
