I have one of these iPod Nanos (pictured) and it's one fine little MP3 player. However, it is quite old now and I'm afraid it would be costlier trying to replace a screen than to just buy a new one - even if new displays are available for the old one. A cracked screen shouldn't really hurt it's ability to play music but if it's very damaged it might not be possible to see and select the options. Might be a good time to upgrade.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Well if the screen is not cracked and there is no black on the screen when the ipod is off then the pixels in the screen died. Easily solved, buy a new screen on ebay, I had to replace my ipod nano screen(clasic) because it was cracked, so this should work for you.
