Do you have frequencies for your area programmed into your scanner? Have you turned the squelch counterclockwise until you hear static and then turned it clockwise just enough to silence the static? Does the display show it in scan mode? Is the antenna properly attached? Do you need a manual for your scanner? Please advise.. thanks
