Question about AO Smith Miller / LSI / Home / Nordyne Replacement Furnace Motor 1/5hp 1050 RPM 115 volts OML64
We have the 625 it works real good for about 2 feet of cutting and then its spits out green flame and melts tip and starts cutting ugly line
It may be an air pressure problem. Plasma cutters require a constant flow of air at a certain pressure to work properly. If the compressor can't keep up and the pressure drops it can create problems. Have someone watch the pressure gauge while you're cutting to see if the pressure remains steady. You may need to adjust the compressor pressure switch or you may need a larger compressor.
Hope this helps.
