How turn on pop up blocker

If you are using IE which comes with your computer by default, follow the steps as below. I've attached a picture as a guide for you.
Click on "Tools".
Hover your mouse cursor over the "Pop-up Blocker"
Click on "Turn On/Off Pop-up Blocker" option.

You may also click on the "Pop-up Blocker Settings" to set your "Pop-up Blocker" blocking level and you can also allow pop-ups from specific websites by adding them to the exclusions list.

Turn Off Pop-Up Blockers on My Computer
Surfing the Internet and constantly being bombarded with pop-up ads can be extremely annoying. For this reason, most computer users enable a pop-up blocker.
Occasionally, however, you run across a website that offers information that you need and it is blocked by the pop-up blocker.
When this happens you need to disable the pop-up blocker. You can disable the pop-up blocker for all websites or just for specific ones.

Launch Internet Explorer.
Click on the "Tools" drop-down menu.

Scroll down, click "Pop-up Blocker" and choose "Turn Off Pop-Up Blocker."
Turn off pop-ups for specific sites by completing steps 1 and 2.
Then, instead of choosing to turn off pop-ups, choose "Pop-Up Blocker Settings."
Add sites to block or remove sites from the list that are being blocked.
Turn Off Pop-Ups Blocker in Toolbars
Even though you may have your pop-ups turned off in Internet Explorer, if you have a toolbar installed on your computer it can still block pop-ups.
The most commonly installed toolbars are the Yahoo toolbar and Google toolbar.
Click on the drop-down menu next to the pop-up blocker button to disable the pop-up blocker in the Yahoo toolbar. Select "Disable pop-up blocker."
Click the "Options" button on the Google toolbar. In "Accessories," clear the box next to the pop-up blocker option.

Aol will not let me remove pop up blocker

I had similar issues with AOL and changed to Firefox which was easier to use and automatically asked if I wanted it to store passwords etc--AOL is not much of a system in my view.

Only one worse is Google Chrome.

How do I turn OFFG pop up blocker?

If this is an AOL supplied pop up blocker try the steps below.

Try looking at the top of your aol browser for something like tools or settings. Search inside them for the popup blocker. You can also just type popup blocker in aol's help to find out how to turn it off.

If this is an Internet Explorer pop up blocker, try the steps below:

Turn off the pop up blocker in the Internet Options in the control panel. Click Start/Control Panel/Internet Options or Start/Control Panel/Network and Sharing. Look for Internet Options. If you have the menu bar at the top of your browser just click Tools/Internet Options. When Internet Options opens click the Privacy tab and look down towards the bottom and remove the check mark from Turn On Popup Blocker the click Apply/OK.

If you have google toolbar at the top of your browser it has a pop up blocker also. So you can turn it off by clicking where it says Blocked, then it will allow popups from that website.

When I receive messages from Stthomasepis@aol.com with a file attached, the file will not open and I get the message in the box that opens saying, "Browser is blocking Pop-ups." This is my...

Normally when this message appears a yellow bar at the top of the browser is also present. In IE you just need to click on it and chose the option that says "allow pop-ups". In Firefox there should be an "Allow" button at the right hand side of the yellow bar.

Best of luck to you mate!

1) Close down your browsers (and the AOL client)

2) Open Windows Explorer and go to C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files

2) You will see more of the screen if you use Internet Explorer or Firefox instead of the AOL browser. Just sign onto AOL, minimize the AOL running but leave it running in the background and then open Internet Explorer and go to Slingo

3) If you cannot see the entire game screen, adjust your screen size (the resolution) to 1024x768. Then you should see the game AND the chat.
