I have problem with my scanner.
when I want scan whith that show this message:
cannot communicate with scanner
cable may be disconnected or scanner may be turn off.check status.scanner driver will be closed. code : 21550
please help

-   i have done everything, turn ff and on, cancell all pending tasks of the computer, but when I want to scan a document, the same thing appears again and again error 2,155.0 can not comunicate with the printer. I have also check, plug and umplug the wire of the printer, have restarted my computer and still I am not able to scan my document, please advise-   johnbarbero

I found a solution for this problem
change your usb cable.
you must use a Anti noise usb cable
it's only solution

Thsi usually happens with canon printers and scanners jsut re-install the driver...I wonder when they will fix it..This happens each time you disconnect the cable and then put it back..

- Dont mis understand..the thing is inappropriate mean that the solution given has nothing to do with the problem...The best thing you can do is re-install the drivers...

For Error 21550 pixma MP Canon
I have changed old USB cable to new USB Hi-speed 2.0,
I can troubleshoot this problem.

eagle but i have to say the problem not fix i try what you said i disconected the cable then reconenect it but the problem still

- hi i find solution i change my usb cable to original one i was have hp scaner before and i use that cable of hp scaner now my canon scan itis work 100%
