Your Garmin device is probably over 12 years old. go get a new one. you have already gotten more than your moneys's worth out of this device. I recommend replacing it with an eTrex 20 or if you want a magnetic compass and better sensors an eTrex 30.

Otherwise, replace the batteries, open it up and replace any coin cell batteries in there as well.

I reset the oil change light in my 2004 Alero, but the chimes and light won't go away.

Depress the accelerator pedal fully three times within five seconds. Allow the pedal to release fully after each pump. Listen for a chime, indicating the procedure is successful. The "Change Oil" light will turn off.. With the ignition key in ON, press the RESET
button located in the driver's side instrument panel
fuse block. See "Instrument Panel Fuse Block" in
the Index.
2. When the CHANGE OIL light starts to flash, press
and hold the RESET button again.
The reset is complete when you hear the chimes
sound and the CHANGE OIL light goes out.

As I remember, the first button press(s) step through lighting the change oil light, the tire pressure light and no light on the dash. Stop pressing while the change oil light is lit and then press and hold until the chimes.

Sony 52xbr4 screen flickering

Fault with the main power supply regulator board. Ubnormal DC voltage output from it. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and precious time.

Maintenance reqiured light is on. I have 138602 miles on my honda accord 96. what maintenance do I need for the car?

    • 1. Press and hold the select/reset button on the right of the instrument panel beneath the odometer reading. 2. Insert the ignition key into the ignition while continuing to to hold the select/reset button. 3. Turn the ignition key to the power accessory position. This will illuminate all the lights on the instrument panel without the engine running. 4. Continue to hold down the select/reset button until the maintenance required light goes out. On some year models, the light may blink once before going out.

I would check the alternator. Check the battery terminal connections to make sure they are tight. My immediate response remains to check the alternator.
