SOURCE: The Heater fan in my 2003 GMC Yukon XL will not turn off
I don't know if you already fixed it, but I had the same problem on my 03 yukon, TysonRicky is right. In my case it was the blower control module. You can find it right under the glovebox. It cost me close to $100 for a new one, but very easy to replace. Can't even imagine how much it would've cost me if I had a mechanic do it.

It could be numerous things, but one particular problem I have seen with a lot of vehicles is the Crank Shaft Position Sensor. The sensor reads off revolutions as the engine rotates, If the sensor don't read where the crank is at, this will cause the car to shut down. Usually the sensor is going bad if this is the problem, once it gets worse the car will not start at all because it won't read where the crank is at period. I'm not saying 100% this is the problem but worth looking into. This is something you can do and don't take long to replace. I'm thinking the part is around $65, also if you plan on doing this yourself buy a Haynes repair manual. These explain and show you how to do a lot of work yourself better than some can explain. Good Luck.
SOURCE: When anti theft light is blinking the car wont
On a 2003 Chevy Maibu the theft system light comes on and blinks when the system is triggered. The car will not start and the fuel pump cuts out. You must turn key to on and have all doors closed. Keep the key to on for 10 mins til theft light turns solid and then disappears. Then turn key to start and it should fire up.
