This happened to me too, you have to take your phone back to who you bought it from so they can repair it. Its the chip inside the phone that is bad. Not the charger.
when you put the phone on the charger does it show a red light on the top of the phone? if so your battery is dead, when the battery is charged the light turn green. you may just have a bad battery. I would take it to where you got it and get another one or a new battery. also your charger could be not working
Return the phone to the dealer and they will probably give you a new one. The phone should be under warranty. The phone may have a bad motherboard and just died. make sure your battery is the same model battery if not get the same model battery for his phone. But i would just try and get a new one from your dealer.
When you plugged in the battery did the red light flash? If it did that means your battery doesn't work anymore and you need a new one. This happened to me, and I bought a new one from best buy. It costs about $50. Hope this helps!
i don't know if it works a not, but give it a try. press the call key, and key in "3845#*850#" ( without quote ) and scroll down and press on device, and then charging> USB/UP Charging on/off

yes, the p-2000 is basically a pile of ****. epson dont do repairs, but offer a replacement for £170! rubbish product, rubbish company, no support! bin it - my second has done the same.... junk!
