Driver releated issue. Please download latest version of your region from Canon website then Un install previous driver and install new version driver....

What you need to do is run the driver setup in windows XP compatibility mode.
Right click on the setup icon, select properties, compatibilities tab then select Windows XP SP3 (or some older version of Windows.
Then left click on the "Change settings for all users" button and from the new window select again XP service pack 3 compatibility and check the "Run this program as an administrator". Click OK and then run the setup application.
It worked for me on Windows 7 ultimate.

your's problem is error message profile not found 0x24050010 means you not configure properly so pls configure properly

sounds like a proprietary TWAIN driver from Canon must be installed...try forcing driver from cd under current devices driver...under device manager, look for imaging devices, then right click-properties then driver-update driver...make sure cd is in
