Double check all the connections that plug into the display unit. Make sure that the positive and negative connections are secure- especially the ground. If this doesn't help, call Whistler at 800-531-0004 for more options.

Hey I installed led indicators to my wr450 and they don't flash the light is just staying on like a normal light bulb. what could I do to fix this problem?

you either need to change out or wire in a electronic flasher relay... the auto parts store has them for about $12 the L.E.D.'s use less voltage and your stock flasher doesn't see them... I had to do the same thing on several of my motorcycles

I need to know how to turn off the top two perascopes on a xtr 255

See the steps below from the XTR-255 owner's manual:

Option Select Mode (XTR-255/260/330)

Press the Menu button to enter Option Select

Mode. Each press of the Menu button changes

to the next selectable feature.

The Dark (D) button and the Quiet (Q) button

turns the feature ON/OFF or Blinking. The decimal

point illumination indicates whether a feature

is on or off. A button must be pressed within

20 seconds or Option Select Mode will automatically

be exited.

The fisrt option is VG-2, the second option is the Periscops (which you want to turn off) and hte third is the blue LEDs in the display.

Will not power on-- batteries are new- if pwr

I was using one of these for the last 8 months, and mine did the same thing, I would push power and the unit will just blink the lights then shut off, But if I hold the power button the light will stay on until the button was released, so I contacted Solo Tech support and they told me the system control board was bad, and in order to get a new board I had to be an authorized servicer for then, I found the board online and the price for the board exceded the price I paid for it. So i deemed it necessary to just purchase a new Scanner....

I have a Solo Radar Detector and all of a sudden when you insert the batteries and turn it on, it goes through the motions of turning on, then when done, the solid red light just blinks. I don't have a...

Well first off in doing so removing the batterys before you powered it off its stuck in some kind of error mode. Try putting the batteries in, holding the power button down for a few seconds and see if the light stops blinking.
Second Idea if you have a local radio shack they have replacment power cords for radar detectors there about 10 dollars. I had to go buy one for mine. After powering it up with that Id say it should work fine.
