Water miser, no heat dry, start cycle gets stuck at 42 minutes on the control panel
Be aware that all (well, almost all) dishwashers have a "thermal hold" period in their cycles. This is the point in the main wash cycle where the heater is turned on to heat the water to the optimum wash temperature (about 150 to 160 deg F), and during this time, the timer will stop advancing. Once the water has reached the desired temperature, the cycle will continue. IF it does not, then you have a water heating problem. This could be caused by a bad heating element, a bad controller, a bad thermostat or temperature sensor.
