Re: fellows Mouse

Get a new mouse. Most likely the switch for the button is broken, or the plastic button that pushes on the switch is broken. It should not be hard for me to fix it, but I have years of training and experience.

Fellows is not known for making high-end equipment, so just get a new one. I can get cheap optical mice for $4.

I have a Fellowes 9993 seems to have a mind of its own....when I click, it scrolls, when I scroll, it opens new windows....anyone know of a mouse exorcist????

Check that the "scroll" wheel is not "stuck" in the "down" position.

If it is stuck, then a "click" on the left button is being interpreted as a "click" on BOTH the LEFT and the SCROLL buttons.

I have a fellowes wireless mouse/keyboard and during use, the mouse looses connection and then I have to shake it or click it to get it back. Someone told me it might be a frequency problem, but I don't...

This is standard practice for wireless mice and keyboards. This is because they go into power saving mode which means you have to click or shake them to re-activate them.

You have nothing to worry about here as my own mouse does exactly the same thing.

Replaced Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2000 doesn't work

I would have suggested opening up your old mouse and cleaning the right click button first.

Generally, wireless devices have a connect button that finds the frequencies of the devices. On the receiver press this button, then press the button on the bottom of your new mouse. the receivers lights will stop flashing once connected.

HP Optical Mouse right click button does not work

Hello PearlySue,

Just download the latest driver for your operating system HERE
and reinstall the driver. Once you've done that, reconnect the mouse and hopefully, it should work. If it does, it would be that the mouse is kaput and you may have to replace it. If it is under warranty, just take it back to the point of purchase and get it replaced. If not, you may have to purchase a new one. But do try the latest driver download first and see...
