Sound cuts out after a few minutes of operation

System sound cuts out after a few minutes of operation. This happens whether TV sound is on (coming from Cable box on composite cables) or on FM Tuner. The unit does not feel hot and has 6 inches of clearance on top, and sides. Any idea what I can do?

The problem: the audio suddenly cuts out.
Turning the amp off, waiting 15 seconds or so and turning it back on will usually
restore the audio, but only for a few minutes, then it cuts out again.
I’ve eliminated all wiring and component media players as the problem, and I’m
convinced the trouble is in the amp itself. When it cuts out, you can
hear the same audible “thunk” that you hear when you switch it off, or change

When talking the sound cuts off and I cannot hear the person I'm talking too although they can hear me. Sometiomes their voices become so faint I can't make out what they are saying. I shake the handheld. Sometmes the sound comes on to go off again in a few minutes.

I blew the tweeter in my jbl stadium floor standing speaker. I would like to know how to remove the cover in order to replace the tweeter. I already purchased the tweeter and it is on the way. I don't want to damage anything in my attempt to remove it.

Your main board has issues with the sound portion of it, it will need to be replaced, and chances are it will keep getting worse over time, its something you can do yourself or take it in but sometimes its not worth the cost to have it repaired by a technician as most shops now are charging close to 100 dollars an hr

Tv cuts off and on no picture or sound

Most TV shut downs like this are HEAT related.Try increased cooling with a fan blowing into it to test this on yours. If it works leave the fan running or repair with a nice little but strong computer fan placed behind the unit..
