SOURCE: remove rear brake drum 2004 Mitsubishi Outlander

Dear Brake Drum Remover,
I'm gonna tell you how to pull this drum off, ya ready?First off, get the rear of the vehicle up in the air safely, Then pull the rear tires off. After those are off then take a gander at the face of the drums, are there shiny brass looking screws installed on the face of that drum?Ifso remove those counterclockwise, then, take a hammer a shock the face off the drum firmly about three times. Now, go to the opposite side on the face of the drum and do that again, keep on doin that until you can wiggle the drum off by hand...easy as that, any other questions get back to me. I'M HERE TO HELP!!!

Radio freezes up then turns off and back on again some days it works fine other days not so well

I actually took a 06 Commander in last week with the same problem. We checked the windshield carefully, and then drivers door moldings and then blew out the drains for the sun roof.
It still leaked down through the drivers' side drain line area of the sun roof, around the window moulding, and dripped right in the vicintiy of the rear of the radio.
We finally found the problem by dropping the head liner down and using an inspection mirror with a flash light. We disconnected the drain line and plugged the nipple opening and poured a small amount of water into the sun roof pan and located a hole in the drain pan just above where the nipple is formed for the drivers' side sun roof drain line.
We could not see the actual leak source without the mirror and flashlight, as it was on the interior side seam facing away from the drivers' door opening.

Since carefully sealing the drain pan seam just a 1/4 above the drain hose nipple on the interior side, slightly above where the drain hose connects, the problem appears to be solved.

It appears to be a manufacturing defect in the plastic seam in my opinion. Could just be a faulty radio if your car doesn't have a sunroof, or a leaking windshield gasket.

My heating and AC blower motor continues to run even after car is turned off and key is removed, on my 2003 outlander.

Right disconnect the battery and see if stops as i have had this problem before and the cause is a solar panel in the sun roof will cause this motor to run to keep the interior temperature down on a hot day .This had me well baffled last week with a AUDI A8 i spent a short while thinking what the noise was then when i found the noise was the blower motor i started to try to think of all the causes i think off then i looked for the fuse board when i thought disconnect the battery first --- and the noise still continued and it was hot over 30? C so i took my overhauls off and threw them over the roof getting ready to look for a second battery somewhere and the noise stopped ,removed the overhauls and it started again so look at the sun roof and it had a solar panel in the glass .BOY DID I FEEL LIKE A IDIOT

One front wiper not working on Outlander 2003

if you open the hood look towards the base of the windshield, you should see the linkages for the wiper arms. make sure the linkages are all in-tact and nothing fell off. if the linkages are all good, see if you can move the passenger side wiper with your hand, if it moves freely or with little resistance check the nut/bolt that hols it on at the end of the wiper arm. see if the nut/bolt is loose. tighten if needed. also you can remove the nut/bolt and check the splines on the wiper arm where it presses onto the stud and see if they are wiped out.
