Idea as to cost of this and how it works please

Honestly speaking, the cost for USB webcams is so low (around $15 to $25) it is not worth the hassle. Just get a new camera and do not get upset with the one you have as fixing them is not worth the cost.

is it mandatory to get the mike changed, something similar had happened a year back and that time, they had said, that since the mike is a part of the board, the entire circuit board needs to get replaced.

It might be locked to the network which you are using ...

you must unlock it.. to unlock you need to upgrade the firmware..

it really doesnt cost you much you can visit the technician...

If you were using the same phone previously with same network then once you need to try giving restore factory settings..

If you still persist any problem then the network antenna inside will be damaged... it will cost some little number of bucks ....

have tryed to replace the head light bulbs i would try that first

The average repair cost is around 30-60 dollars. Price depends on if you need parts or not. It sounds optical related and not digital. Could be moisture in the lens or on the CCD imager glass. Could be a jammed focus motor.

Convergence ICs are bad need to be replaced. You will need to replace both of them also check the resistors right next to the IC often 1 or 2 of them burn out when the IC goes.

yes it is possible sir...i have recently change mine because i have the same problem as you...they replace the flexible glass (touch pad) but that will depend on the servicing centers you will go to...i have no idea how much is the cost in your place sir...
