I have a 2006 Suzuki Forenza and my horn will not blow. Tried replacing fuse and the horn didn't sound at all, just blew the brand new fuse. Any help would be great!

Its shorted, that line, the fuse blew saving you a nice fire.
are you using the correct fuel shown in you operators guide, see index , fuses.

do not mess under dash until you defeat those air bags, they can kill you. (break a neck easy) the schmatic is here.

official FSM
https://suzukipitstopplus.com/Products/1066-2006-forenza-reno-service-manual.aspx
$4 cost, dirt cheap.

first look at the actual horn, see damage there, it or the plug.
pull its plug and safe off (means tape it) and see if fuse blows yet?
always work the simple side first, not air bag side,or the
air bag clock spring, inside, steering last.

its either path A shorted, (most likely but fate wins)
or Path B, shorted relay coil.
if horn unplugged, fixes blowing fuse, the horn is bad.
easy huh?

SOURCE: 2008 Ford Escape Horn Fuse keeps blowing after

I would trace the wire from the horn and see if it was inadvertently damaged when the alternator was installed. If you have a voltmeter, you can remove the horn fuse and check to see if there is continuity between the horn (non hot side) of the fuse and the car body. This would indicate a short in the wire running from the fuse box to the horn. You can also look around the alternator mounting area to see if any wires are being pinched. Hope this helps. Good luck!

SOURCE: replace front wheel bearing 2006 suzuki forenza

Very easy. Pull the wheel off after lifting the car on the side you're fixing. ;) Then pull the big center nut off the spindle. It's got a safety smash down you will have to lift up that's in a grove on the shaft. You will see this once the wheel is removed. Unbolt that big nut then pull off the brake rotor. The bearings are in the brake rotor and the shaft the rotor was sitting on. Change them both and be back on your way. It's a 20 min job at most for a beginner.

How do I get access to the horn for replacement?

if dead , you cant find it by listening, right....
can you see it? did you look at all angles possible to see it?
under hood, and behind that grill. (its there find it)
if yes, then you know what needs to be removed. (a deductive least path of resistance and tools)
the FSM covers this.
or alldata.com (search horn) remove.

just 4 bucks to read and learn all steps of things.

https://suzukipitstopplus.com/Products/1066-2006-forenza-reno-service-manual.aspx

EF 16 fuse blown
if you remove the horn relay
and hot wire the 87 relay pin socket with 12vdc (use inline 15amp fuse jumper line (per FSM rules or ASE rules... same...)
then the horn must honk.!
if not the horn base may be just rusty. clean it,
or bench test it, first.

if behind the grill and there are no panels that come off to get at it or not get to it from underneath car, then the grill needs to come out, some are in the engine bay, front corners.. look there yet.?
google work>?
Best Answer: it located in front of the bumper cover...

my online books do not cover horn. so.... pay 4 bucks. above.
my last answer was this.

http://www.fixya.com/cars/t25588791-2006_suzuki_forenza_horn_will_not_blow

and horns can short. as can its wire.
so if the hot wire blows the (tech, fused jumper)
then that path is shorted.
find your horn, then take a photo of it. and post it?
and we can advise how to reach it.
i can name 10 locations of horns , on cars.
but not this one, its a Daewoo, suzuki wonder box with GM parts stuffed in....

ok, my forenza folder has full set of harnesses
and bingo
here is your horn, seem front grill out to me
but youd need to see exactly how its mounted

Sounds l;ike the horn itself has a short. Try another from a salvage yard. If fuse blows again, it's likely a wire to horn that lost insulation and touching metal.
Good luck.

My partner has a 2006 suzukie forenza and just

This process takes (2) people to do easily. Once the battery is charged again from a charger or jump start, with the car off, open the hood with all the doors closed and disconnect the positive (RED) side of the battery using a wrench (many are 10mm). If you then touch the battery terminal back to the positive post of the battery you will likely see a small spark. That means something in the car is killing your battery. If not (no small spark) then you have an alternator problem. By taking needle nose pliers and removing and replacing each fuse in the fuse block individually and doing the aforementioned spark test, pulling ONE of those fuses will likely show NO spark when you touch the battery terminal to the battery. Once you have found that, you have found the circuit which is draining your battery. Look in the owners manual to find what that fuse is for. That will GREATLY narrow down your search to whatever is causing your problem.

My 2007 forenza horn works from time to time, otherwise not at all the fuses are fine and the relay is clicking but the horn doesnt blow

more than likely the horn is bad, but i wouldnt rule out the possibility of a faulty clockspring ,but not likely.
