Spreaker I have no sound. How should the wiring be for the sound to work? Is there something special you need to connect for the sound to work properly? We recently moved and I'm not so sure everything was reconnected properly.

I want to connect my Xbox 360 to my aoc f22+ monitor so I bought a hdmi to d-sub cable to plug the Xbox into the monitor as it didn't have a hdmi input. The screen just shows a blank image and the only...

You need a HDMI to DI cable not HDMI to d-sub cable. The sellers that are selling that cable do not tell you that it will only work with special video cards that output analog to the HDMI connector. HDMI is digital and so is DVI so they will adapt to each other. Keep in mind that this is for video only, sound will not work on the monitor because the DVI port does not support sound. You will need to add a set of speakers to the Xbox

Yes, you will need a seperate wire that goes from the input in the monitor to the sound adapter on your computer. The cable plugs should look something like this:

My moitor's speakers are not playing any sounds from the Internet videos

Is it just internet videos? If so, you might need to upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Flash. If it is all sound you'll need to check the wired connections, check that your sound card is properly installed and working in the device manager, and make sure the sound is turned up in the "Sounds and Audio Devices" Control Panel.

Benq g2400w lcd monitor how to get sound working on the monitor only connected thru DVI

If this montor has built in speakers you would also need to connect the audio wire to the computer. It should be a wire with a green jack on both ends, You'll connect it to the audio in jack on the monitor and the green jack on the back of your computer. Hope this helps.

My Samsung LCD TV/Computer Monitor just went deadOnly 14pins/15

It sounds to me like the monitor/TV needs to either be replaced or sent in for repair but there are a few things we can test.

The first thing would be to set the TV to connect a cable line to the TV and see if you can get any type of picture on it at all. (Don't forget to change the input mode)

Then I would try connecting a different monitor to the computer just to make sure it didn't blow out the video card.

If both options work then it is the input on the TV and it needs to be repaired.

If only the TV works then it was the video card on the computer.

If the second monitor works and the TV doesn't then the TV either needs to be replaced or repaired.

Oh and by the way it is normal for the pin to be missing on those cables, that is how they are made.

No sound

Yes, you do. You need an stereo audio cable. It will have a connector like found on portable headphones on each end. There should be a recepticle for it on your monitor, usually marked light green. This cable would then connect to your computer's audio output. Although, I don't think your monitor has speakers.

Picture but no sound on Hyvision LCD monitor MV190

I had the same problem. The speakers are mounted below the the LCD Monitor. There is no internal connection between the speakers and the TV Audio. There should have been a short patch cord in your box having one jack on one end and two wires with mono jacks on the other. Plug the stereo jack into the audio out on the monitor and then plug the other jacks into the left and right side of the speakers (the wires should be marked L and R). If you cannot find the jack, I'm sure that you can find one on line or get one from Radio Shack.
