Canon imageRUNNER 6020I Copier Logo
Posted on Jul 09, 2009

We a non profit business just had an Image Runner 6020i donated. The problem we are having is that to use the copier it asks to insert a card the card reader is no longer on the copier as it stayed with the Law office that donated it, what can we do to overide this?

...yes you can override this situation if you know how to open up right panel...just open the front door and take out the toner compartment (loosen 3 screws) and you can see another 2 screws loosen the screw and also the back of it...take out the cable power from the wall power source...you will see the cable...jumper the cable no1 and no 3...remember not to jumper the wrong cable...

I want to write an constitution for an religious NPO,can you help me please?

Hello, Charles -

I am a librarian by profession. I suggest you visit your local public library and ask one of the librarians for help in locating materials regarding what to include in the constitution or bylaws of a religious based non-profit organization.

By the way, you may also need to find out what is required for the non-profit organization to be designated as a charitable organization so that anyone who donates to the organization can take the value of the donation as a personal income tax deduction.

Years ago, I drafted the bylaws of a non-profit organization in the USA. One of the things we needed to do was register as "a business entity" with the state government where the organization is located.

If you are in the USA, Nolo Press publishes some excellent books and guides regarding non-profit organizations. In case you are in the USA, this is the link to online information from Nolo Press:

Best wishes.

Our non-profit was donated a Konica 7035 multi-function copier that says on the display that it has a printer board problem. We can we find one, what's the cost, and is it worth fixing?

Hello.

If the problem is with the printer drive board, the copier needs to be serviced.

Depending on the cost of repair, it may not be worth fixing.

If the copier was just donated, is it possible to contact the donor to see if they had priced out the cost, since I suspect that they were experiencing problems as well.

Hope this helps.
