Why would I find water under my refrigerator? Does that indicate a problem?

Sometimes while the refrigerator is defrosting, the drip plan will overflow. Look underneath and see if the drip pan is in place. Monitor in the future.

Water dripping into the fridge, was told their might be a clogged drip tray but don't know where it is.

the drip pan is under the unit,, along the edges of some models inside, are little alleys that lead to the drip pan, sometimes they fill with ice and need to be cleaned out , look along the inside walls of the freezer

THE FRIDGE IS LEAKING WATER FROM THE INSIDE AND RUNNING OUT THE FRONT OF THE FRIDGE

Hello
There is a drip pan under the evaporator coil. This pan is to catch the condensation dripping off the coil. Then the water goes down a drain hose to a re-evap pan. That all being said. What's the problem you have? The first thing I look for is to make sure the hose is still connected to the drip pan. The next and most ofter is the problem is a clog in the drain hose or where the hose connects to the drain pan. We use compressed gas to blow out the clogs.
I would also check the pan for cracks or holes. This should take care of your problem. Also make sure the door and gasket is sealing to keep air and moisture from getting in and making the condensation problem worse.
I hope this helps you. Please leave feedback.
Thank you.

Water leaking along back interior to bottom under & over veggie bins

Sounds like the drain to the drip pan is clogged -- maybe with ice.

Defrost water runs down to a drain in the bottom of the fridge and into a pan underneath where it evaporates.

Sounds like the defrost water is not reaching its final destination.

Here's the way the same problem was solved earlier today:

For those who have this problem with this model: The drip pan is in an open space on the back side of the refrigerator. There is a rubber spout that empties into it. But to clear clogs...you must take out the shelves from the freezer, unscrew and remove the back panel on the inside of the freezer. There you will see the water exit. Boiling water cleared it out.

Dripping water inside fridge. Can't find drain hose

at the rear of the fridge unit there is a hole, normally at the bottom of a shallow "v" shape. there should be a plastic insert in it to clear any blockages, just wiggle it a bit. failing that a pipe cleaner will do the same.

How to empty drip pan

At the back of the food compartment where the water collects ,there is a drainage hole, this is blocked up,poke a long thin piece of wire or similar and poke it down the hole, this should clear the blockage,
If the water does not drain away then you need to go the rear of the frig and clear the rubber or plastic hose that you will see on the top of the motor compressor. this should solve the problem.
Plz rate this solution.
Thanks. and merry xmas.

I cannot get to the drip pan under refridgerator to empty it. It is filled with sludge and smells bad

Thank willie for helping with one: "Well, it looks like the pan is a seperate plastic pan and not the compressor mounting pan like some of the newer ones are. It appears that you have to remove the condensor fan motor and mounting bracket then maybe the pan will left up and over the compressor, or maybe there is enough room to lift the pan up and out the front over the condensor coils"

Fridge is leaking water all over the place.

The defrost drain opening or drain hose is plugged up with ice or crud. If the drip pan is bone dry, it's a sure sign that the drain opening or drain hose is clogged. Trace the drain hose back to see where it pick up the condensate in the refrigerator cabinet. Remove whatever pieces you need to to clean that sucker out. Door gaskets are torn or not making good contact with the cabinet. No? Well then where's all that water coming from, Einstein? It can only come from the humidity in the outside air--your fridge can't make water, dontcha know
