Machine stops working after only a few seconds on

In the inlet pipe, there is a small valve that can get jammed shut with debris this causes them to pulse start, stop, start, stop, and so on. Ensure this is floating free, not jammed shut, it works purely on gravity... The other possibility is the cyclone needs cleaning. Remove the filter and check no dirt is lodged there. Remove the top torx screws and keep them safe. Carefully remove the top check for damaged seals gaskets etc (this can cause a malfunction). Again keep safe. The cyclone can then be inspected for dirt and dust clogging holes and airways. Clean thoroughly and reassemble, make sure all components are dry if they have been washed to clean them. Hopefully, this will restore the machine to working order

How old is the unit? It looks like the battery needs to be replaced.

Many of these 'faults' are actually safety devices which are fitted to stop damage occurring and possible fires in equipment. Does the machine work again after being left to cool? If so, it requires a service, as there is probably a blockage in the system causing lack of sufficient airflow, which in turn makes the motor work harder and overheat,

It sounds like the batteries are at the end of their lifespan.

Whats your model number? A lot of machines contain a circuit that cuts the motor power when it gets to hot. Try cleaning/replacing filters and a fresh bag.

The Relay Control Board in the 2100 is bad. Replace and it should work just fine.

Depending on when you got your vacuum, it may still be under warranty. I strongly suggest calling your dealer or sales rep, or taking the machine in, to have them check it.
It may be something as simple as a full bag!

If the brush is spinning ok, and the belt isn't slipping, then probably the circuit breaker is bad, or the motor is causing the problem.
