This most likely requires that you get the Hebrew Font set from the Manufacturer and install it in the Printer Firm ware or update the Hebrew Font Set in your computer software. Either should resolve your problem. The printing that you currently see is, without actually seeing it, the result of the printer trying to print character codes that it does not recognize. I would try updating the Firmware in your printer first then if that failed update the Hebrew Font codes and character set and install that. Epson should have the download on their website. I have done typesetting and websites in Hebrew. It wasn't a lot of fun for me considering I don't speak the language. Word particularly has trouble with it. The best solution I found was putting the English text in a text box. You can hide the borders on the text box and change it to right alignment so that it looks like its just part of the doc and goes from left to right as it should. You can adjust how the Hebrew text wraps around the text boxes also.

I had a much easier time with Hebrew in Quark, haven't tried it in InDesign. And please don't ask me how the design department managed to steal a programmer to work on a 50+ language ad campaign. :D

i had the same problem and figured out a way ....
actually , there is the way of putting hard coded subtitles onto the movie , but i dont think that it is a good solution as of you need to reincode the movie.

my solution, the hebrew fonts are not available in this device , and probably wont be availabe any time soon. so you need to use dvd subtitles, in the format of .sub and .idx. the sub file is quite big - 1 to 5 mb depanding on how much text there is in the subtitle file u have.

these files you can make using subtilte creator for example.
you have to put it in the same dir and same name as the avi file, and to rename the srt file or delete it.

this solution is not funal because there is some kind of bug not shutting down the subtitles, for this i have written alittle prog to fix...
