I have a GE PDW8060GSS dishwaser. The washer does not turn on. The "anti bacterail" swith keeps blinking. There is some water standing inside the washer. Tried draining, but water keeps coming back. Not sure what is the issue. Can you help?
If after draining water comes back then you need to check the waste water system for any cloughs. Problem might even be at the dwelling drainage system as any blockages would prevent water from going out from washer. Check the waste hose, filter and pump. clean them all if needed.
Best of luck

After all the phases of the cycle were over there was a continuous quiet noise that sounded like a motor running. The only way to get it to stop is to keep the door open. If I close the door the motor sound comes back on. If I start the washing cycle the loud motor comes on and I can still hear the quieter motor running in the background.
