Engine light comes on and goes off. PO466

I have a 2004 KIA Sorento; Engine Light comes on and goes off, usually comes on at three quarters of a tank of gas and goes off at one quarter tank of gas. Had the P0441 Evaporative Emission System Incorrect Purge Flow and the P0446 Evaporative Emission System Vent Control Circuit repaired June 6, 2009. Now just PO466 continues and today it showed red on the diagnostic tool; still just a yellow engine light on the dashboard. Took it back June 16, 2009 and there was a kink in one of the hoses; suposidly that was corrected but as I said PO446 still occurring (on and off).

These switches usually have three positions: off, on, on when the door opens. Try checking all three.

Please see the schematic attached, proceed with logic system for troubleshooting and fix it. Look for loose connection, corrosion, dirty, dust, vibration, burn or break wires, defective relais or pump.

I HAVE A 2006 KIA SORENTO. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

p0454 erratic evap pressure sensor signal
p0122 throttle position sensor circuit low
p0113 intake air temp signal low
p0305 cyl #5 missfire
i would look for a short or open wire somewere
i checked TSBs from kia and none pertain to you
clear codes and drive then check to see if they come back. then repost

Might have got some bad gas at one time and when gas is low in the tank whatever is in the tank clogges up the fuel pump screen.

Service engine light -- on then off, then on, then off

If it's the check engine light, I'd look at the radiator for partial internal obstruction...In colder temps or running at speed it tends to run a bit cooler. RPM change may be computer attempting to compensate for this. I'm not a KIA expert, but this applies to any vehicle. Also check your coolant level. If it's low it will also act this way.
