Sounds like the dispensing lever is broken. I had the same problem. I am still looking for a part. If the coffee is brewed and in the upper tank then the lever is not pushing on the valve. I glued mine several times but it keeps breaking.

I have had a similar problem. I support Mark's suggestion to check the lever. Mine is broken. Cannot be glued.

...what do you mean won't come out of the maker?
how do you know it's 'brewing?' do you hear bubbling? do the grounds even get wet?
if the grounds don't even get wet, then i would suggest that the supply line from the tank to the basket is bad.. but only if you hear it bubbling.
