Problem for Canon MultiPASS C3000 All-In-One InkJet Printer

I would like to hook up my given to me canon multipass c3000 printer to my computer, i have the cables hooked up, but when i go to the installation wizard it says that i need a disk to put into my computer to install, and the only thing that i have is the cord to hook up from the printer to the computer. Please help.
