Question about Canon PowerShot S1 IS Digital Camera
The camera works fine, and even with the scary flash, the pictures turn out OK, but there is something definitely wrong. I don't know it is dangerous or not, but we are on an extended road trip in the US, visiting children and grandchildren, and we need to take pictures. The problem started after taking the camera to the beach, and even though we were very careful, it is possible that a grain of sand might have gotten into the works.
Is there anything we can try besides spending a lot of time and money on repairs (we are very short of both). Thanks.
I had same problem, and mine stopped working altogether also.....
Interested to know what happened on the one that was sent in to get looked at in December 07
