I don't know which OS your tablet uses... perhaps Jelly Bean. If so, if you push the Power button and the "Power Off" option shows up on the screen press the selection of "Power Off" and hold your finger down on it until a pop-up screen shows a selection of: Boot into "Safe Mode". Choose that and what happens is it boots up with no applications loaded. You should then be able to access the "Settings" and then choose "Factory Data Reset" option. Hope this works
Search google to do a hard reset, I had the problem and after doing a hard reset it helped me and my tablet is working fine now. I don't really remember which keys it was but there are three keys to keep pressed and after that it will reset your tablet and if everything is ok it should work perfectly after that. It would be nice if the manufacturer would also put that in the manual, because when I received my tablet I had to calibrate the screen and that didn't really help me. Also the tablet was working really slow and took a lot of time for everything, plus the fact that the keyboard kept pressing all sorts of other keys then that I wanted to press. I hope this will help you and that your tablet will work fine for you. Let me know if you had any success.
I do not remember my pin number at the flashing line so therefore I can't open my Samsung galaxy 2 tablet and I want to have that PIN number totally disabled so this won't happen again.
