You ony need to know the blower wheel diameter and width and the direction(ccw or cw).Is the wheel bent or broken? Normally You don't need to replace the wheel unless the is damage. The motor is proboly a standerd 3 speed motor with high speed being used in cooling, and low speed on low or medium. 230v 1/2 hp.good luck

now tsb 06-01-39-002C, blower, in the list #4
even blower stuck on key off or dead key on
cause
These conditions may be caused by a blower motor control module failure. This failure may
occur when the vehicle is operated in ambient temperature conditions of -23°C (-10°F) or
below.

Replace the blower motor control module if the vehicle experienced a blower motor
control module failure in extremely cold ambient temperature conditions.
Technicians are to replace the blower motor control module, also called the Linear Power
Module (LPM), with the P/N listed below. Refer to either the Blower Motor Control Processor
Replacement or Blower Motor Processor Replacement-Auxiliary procedures in SI. After
replacement of the blower motor control module, the customer may notice a slightly higher
than expected blower motor speed at any of the blower speed settings

Hi there! My Amana BR22 with freezer on the bottom is not cooling anything. It started last week when I noticed my ice cream was mushy, so I turned the freezer dial higher but it just kept getting...

U need a new compressor for ur fridge, if u go behind ur fridge...there is a black oval shaped unit with gas pipes connected to it. Jot down dtails on the sticker (rating; horse power) and use that data to find a replace. The service man wil have to refill the gas for u too. Please vote if it works, good luck.

Amana AFI2538AES The refrigerator portion keeps freezing the fruits and vegetables. The chiller control is on the warmest setting and the refrigerator temp is set at 43. I have been raising every once...

Our Amana afi2538aes is doing the same thing. Had a repairman out. He called tech support at Amana. They had him adjust the "thermistors" but it is colder than ever running at 28-30degrees in the fresh food compartment despite being set at 46 degrees. Tech support also recommended installing some sort of "ice bin seal kit to take care of the problem" according to our invoice from repairman. Repairman was told that the ice bin in the fresh food compartment puts cold air out (to keep the ice frozen) which freezes the food in the fresh food compartment. I called Amana and the rep I spoke to said he couldn't find record of this being a problem with the model but tech support told our repairman "we've had a lot of problems with this happening."

HVAC Blower Motor Replacement

Ain't nothing to it. Slide out the blower and take it outside. Use some rust buster to get the blower out. Don't beat on the shaft. Spread that shaft and the wheel won't come off. Use a rubber mallet. Most generic blowers have white as a common wire and the speeds are black-hi blue med and red, for low. 2 brown wires will go to the capacitor. other wires will reverse direction. Wash the housing and blower wheel good. any wire unused will be taped off to themselves. Nothing to it.
