I have a egmond guitar, serial number 71122269. Can somebody advise what year this was made and where?

It was made in Eindhoven Holland. Egmond produced large quantities of guitars with models from cheap to quite good, for that time.

The serial number does not date the guitar, you have to look for other clues, as here

I am trying to date My moms Goya guitar with serial number 371741

Hello
The serial can place the year at 2 different years....either a 1958 or a 1967. Goya has a long history or being bought by different companies and they all had a different way of serial numbers. But there is a way to tell the difference. Check this site out as it is very informative and will help you date this guitar. http://www.vintage-guitars.se/Levin/Goya_serial_numbers.htm
