Trouble Printing

-   I just installed a new black ink cartridge-both my color and black ink cartridges are now full. When I go to print something/go to preferences/the option to click "print in black and white" is grayed out. I tried everything, how do I only print in black ink? Any suggestions? Thanks!-   dej1067

You mean I have to buy a color cartridge to print in B&W? We don't NEED yellow, people, why do we have to buy it??-   Guest

-   I have the same problem (Canon Pixma ip1600), and like all tech troubles, this one decided to show up within 12 hours of the deadline of a major project. It's not like I can just drop by the local market to pick up a $30 ink cartridge. Why have they done this to us, to humanity? WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY!?!?!?!?!?!?! I HATE DEVELOPERS SO MUCH!!! I WANT TO IMPALE THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!! DIE, DIE, DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!! DIE SLOWLY AND PAINFULLY, SCREEEEEAMING IN AAAAAGONYYY!!!!!!
