There are three models of the "Pinseeker" The model TourV2 and Medalist are NOT waterproof. The Pinseeker 1500 & 1600 are waterproof. I've seen people try and bake them in a oven....They "baked" the rubber cover right off. That's funny...
Lukewarm air and time is the best way to dry.
(air that is too warm WILL damage the LCD inside)
