Connect your printer to the pc now start the printer the operating system should notify you about the new detected device if this does not happens check your cable and usb port if it detects the hardware install device drivers and continue the printer should work now

Have you connected the printer's USB port to your CPU? If not, then do so. If after doing it, still your PC don't detect your printer, make sure you have a functional USB port. To check it, try using a USB Flash drive if it works with your PC. If it won't, you might have to "Enable" your USB at your BIOS.

A possible reset might solve hence remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer driver software and connect the Printer to be detected and installed. Check printer properties to see the ink levels.
Use head cleaning before a test is taken . It is possible that the head is not reacting to the need of the command , can be an issue with ink drying , can also be poor ink cartridge contacts
