This means the tablet got to hot and presented a fire hazard. Only a few things cause the overheat, first is a failing battery and the last running data heavy programs like complex video games. Those types of programs draw a lot of amps and can overheat the tablet.

Go to the Google Play store or Amazon App Store and search for them. Lots of games and Bible Apps to chose from.

You should be very careful charging any battery that heats up to the point that seems like it is overheating. Newer batteries are lithium ion or polymer and can cause fires when they get too hot although the polymer is supposed to be less susceptible. You should get a new battery if you're sure you're using the correct charger made for your device.

1.Use a pin in the rear reset hole whilst holding the power button for A-HK8 Aldi Tablets, hold until the screen flashes white once, Then turn on Power as normal....it will appear to be stuck on the ANDROID logo but it isn't....
2.wait with the android logo showing on the screen for 3 minutes, don't touch anything, just let it be for 3 minutes....

I must also say that the dual core in these HK8's get very overloaded and overheat when playing it, as there is no gills or vents on the back cover, this is a manufacture fault by Bauhn, and they have since stopped making these,
it's a shame as it will only last a short while maybe 3 months or more until you need to do a hard reset all over again, as the tablet overheats mid use and causes a corrupt shutdown and when turned on again will need another dammed hard reset.....they constantly need hard resets... if you haven't the heart to throw it in the garbage and say goodbye to your $200 then ...this is what you will have to prepare for if you continue to own it..

You don't say which iPad, but if it is the newest one, it is said that it will will run up to 10 degrees warmer that the older ones. It should be nothing to worry about as long as you aren't using it is direct sunlight. One thing you can do that should help is to open up the multitasking bar (the app bar that shows all the apps open) and close some of them. It also should be covered by the warranty. If it get so hot that it can burn your skin, I would bring it back to store for replacement, but you should be ok. Don't be surprised if this is fixed by a future patch just like the iPhone 4s battery issue was fixed. Also, if it burns out and it obviously not your fault, it is covered under the warranty.
