DSR 922- to begin with it wouldn't shut off, no

IF the receiver lost its sat settings you had, you best check the internal battery. the lithium battery should be 3.70 volts...if its dead you need to replace it, without interupting the power source...this will also cause you to lose your unit ID number. then you won't be able to subcribe to programming...the 922 can be repaired if the battery dies.

for some reason the unit droped al its memory. our provider checked some of the diagnostic numbers and said we had to reprogram the sats. then they rehit it and its working fine- have no clue why it lost memory- we have a serge procter on the line. thanks. Ron
