Canon iR C3220 Printer TCP/IP settings

First of all, it sounds as if the network cable or plug this cable is plugged into is bad. If they are good, make sure from you IT person what the IP address is supposed to be. You will need to check that the IP address is correct in the copier. Press Additional Functions, then systems settings, then network settings, TCP/IP, then you should see the IP address. Check at the computer to make sure the Port for the printer is the same. Good luck

Hello ,actually its a very easy way to install canon 3220 to a network just download the driver from canon official site :software.canon-Europe.com
go to printers and faxes add printer press local then next choose create port choose stranded tcp/ip write down the same ip of the copier then press next ,choose have disk and specify where the file u download it from the site and after that choose from the menu canon clc3220 c1pcl5 then press ok so now the printer driver is defined. now at the other side (photo copier ) press * system management network settings choose TCP/IP and give the machine IP turn off and the on the machine to save the changes .now the machine is connected through the network :) for more assistant t here is my email mramlawi@gmail.com regards :)

The following steps will allow you to send and receive E-mail: 1. Make sure you have all of your TCP/IP information set up (IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, DNS Server (if one), Host Name, and Domain name of your Domain) before you begin.
2. Enter into the Network Settings and Select E-mail/I-Fax.
3. If you are setting this up for SMTP (Simple Mail Transport Protocol) to send E-mail and I-Fax, enter the IP address or Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) of your mail server in the SMTP Server section. For example: mail_server.organization.company.com. Then enter the email address that will be the default sender in the SMTP Address field.
4. If you use POP3 and want to receive e- imageRUNNER mail and I-Faxes, fill in the IP address or FQDN of your POP3 server and the account added for the imageRUNNER-iR. The password is optional and needs to be entered if set on the e-mail account of the imageRUNNER-iR. Set the POP interval (how often the machine will log in and check for mail).
5. Reboot the device.
* Note - AUTHENTICATION ISSUES -
-If the SMTP mail server requires authentication for sending email, enter Encryption/Authentication login information (SMTP authentication via a username and password).
- For the models that do not support SMTP authentication, the administrator will need to set up a SMTP Relay.

you should be able to go through the print menu on the printer and look for something that says information or configuration and look for network settings and print this page.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS>SYSTEM SETTINGS>NETWORK SETTINGS>TCP/IP SETTINGS

Is the Canon connected with a cable that's connected to an active port. You can try to Fixed IP hold down 1 & 7 When you power up the machine, make the necessary network configurations and see if pings back with a reply.

go to printer tab then function then print pages then configuration page. and you'll see the ip address

1st of all you'll have to check if the DHCP is activated.
But for your normall operation try a static ip, that will keep the machine allways connected to the specified network class.

Go to the Printer Tab, select Printer Status/Settings, select Functions, go to page 2, select Run Setup, select Yes, and then you're in like Flynn.

I am not "at" a 3220 but I will try to visualize. On the "op" panel to the right of the display is a button that looks like an asterisk and says additional funcions.Press it. Bottom left tab says "system settings". Press it. New menu,right side , second tab, says network settings. Press it. At that point you should see tcp/ip settings. Press this tab and you will see the ability to manipulate many of your network settings."NOTE" this device is indeed capable of supporting being set to DHCP. You of course understand the pitfalls of having a printer set to dhcp. It is almost always recommended that a printer/scanner/fax/document server/ have a static ip address.
