I am not sure of your model but here is some instructions that might work

u When The Battery Is Dead & You Cannot Open The Safe....Don't Worry!!! The lock's computer chip will retain the 6-digit code you have programmed.

1. Take a new 9-volt alkaline battery and "press" the two terminals on it "against" the two terminals on the keypad.....large terminal to large terminal.....small to small.....holding it in place......note that it will not attach to the keypad!

2. While holding the battery in place with one hand, enter your private code with the other.

3. After entering the final number and hearing 2 beeps, while continuing to hold the battery in place with one hand, turn the keypad (with the other hand) to open the door.

4. Replace the dead battery with the new one as noted above.

Leave it for a week. The batteries might have regenerated just enough to open the door once more.

Otherwise there may be a keyhole beneath the front plate.

If all else fails, you'll have to cut the back out of the safe.

My Honeywell Safe model 5005W keeps beeping, even though I put new batteries in it. What do I need to do, to shut it up?

The batteries must be installed before using your safe. The battery compartment is located inside the safe on the lock cover panel.
Note: If both green and red LED's are on, it is an indicator that the batteries are weak and must be changed immediately. The User Code will not be erased if power is restored by replacing the
batteries within 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the User Code will be erased and will need to be reprogrammed. Weak or dead batteries should be replaced immediately and all 4 batteries should be changed. To replace the batteries please follow STEPS 1 - 3. Remember to always remove batteries from safe if not using for an extended period of time. If your batteries are completely dead and you cannot o pen the safe by using the digital keypad, use the override access key to open safe
and access the battery compartment. The use of Non-alkaline or rechargeable batteries is NOT
RECOMMENDED.

I have a safeplace safe and the battery dead, how can i open it?

Most such safes are supplied with an override key for such an eventuality, though the keyhole might not be obvious and some trim might have to be removed for access.

This type of safe is commonly used in hotel rooms and no hotel would equip themselves with safes there is no backdoor method of accessing as keys are often lost and codes forgotten...

You will need to use the override key to open the safe. ... To access the override lock, there is usually a removable panel to the side of the keypad.

I changed the battery, but my sentry 1610 is not responding. Look like the whole keypad is dead. Can you please tell me is there a secondary battery for the keypad?

Could be the battery holder is bad. A1 Locksmith Burlingame CA 94010 have Sentry safe locks, keys, battery holders, battery door covers, and door handles. But only a small supply in stock.

Dead battery can open

Most of the time there is either two metal contacts on the front for something like a 9v battery for a temp power to open the safe and replace the battery or look for an access panel on the keypad for the battery door.

Watch the polarity!

Sentry safe S3877 have key and know combination but battery dead

Use paperclip to push in pin size hole below keyboard and then slide panel to right. Battery box is right there. Replace batteries and then was already to accept code.

Battery is dead - no green light.

Find out from Safe suppliers etc. where you can provide power to it and what kind of supply you need, and whether this changes the safe-opening procedure once it's powered up. Set it up and do it, open the safe...and probably change the battery.
Then try to remember who needed what backup service....

Batteries are dead can't open safe

I had the same problem. We finally located where the batteries were hidden. They were below the keypad, There is a silver, plastic cover that slides to the right to expose the 4 AA batteries. Hope this helps you.
