Received email that my fb was logged into from a new browser or device. Gave me a link to review login but do not see it.

Hello, Kathy -

1. Establish a new, separate email address. Use an email provider which is different than the one you currently use . . . Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo,Mail.com, etc. Make sure you use a strong password for that new email account and write it down somewhere and keep it in a safe place, in case you forget the password..

2. Open your Facebook account (your current email address + the latest Facebook password you established) and choose Settings.

Edit your Facebook Account Contact email address to the new one you just established and make it your Primary Email Address. Plus remove the email address you previously used as your Primary Email Address.

If you have a cell phone, make sure your cell phone number is provided as an alternate contact.

Save those changes.

3. Then, change your Facebook Password. You should see Security and Login in the left sidebar. Click or tap on that. Follow the on-screen instructions for changing your Password. Make your new Facebook password a strong one. Write it down, along with your new FB login / ID and keep it in a safe location so that you can refer to it if you forget it. Save that change.

4. Log out of your FB account.

5. Log back into your FB account, with the new ID/email address and new Password. NOTE: DO NOT allow your FB login and password to be saved through your browser and other devices. Saving that login information makes it easier for someone else to get into your account.

Only time will tell if the changes you make, as I have described above, will keep out anyone who was logging into your FB account.

If another account comes up, log out of it by clicking the down-pointing triangle in the upper-right then clicking "Log Out."

If you then still can't log in to your account, click the "Forgot your password?" link located just below the password box on the login page.

As You Say you cant able to log in to your Facebook Account...
do it.
Option 1>>
1> click on Forget Password
2> enter your mail id (facebook login id)
3> submit it.
4> go to / open / log in to your mail id & check the mail which is sent by facebook for password reset.
5> click on that link
6> enter a new password.
7> now try login to facebook with new password.

Option2 >>
Try other browser like if you use Google Chrome then try with Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer or Safari or Opera.

if you successful login with other browser then you use. then update or reinstall your old browser.

I had to email support and tell them my was account was hacked and the sent me an email asking me security questions to prove it was my account and then they replied giving me links to retrieve my fb account and instructed me to use one or more log in security features they offer so this stuff don't happen. I now get texts telling me if A login was made to my account from a new device'

If you are using a browser that has the ability to SAVE your log in info, and you recently changed your info, the browser might be trying to log into a false link onto the FB site. I would recommend clearing your cache for this browser and going straight to the FB main page and logging in. If that doesn't work, trying using a different browser and see if you get the same error. Since it is a different browser you shouldn't.

You got to logout first you FB account so that it will return you to log-in page or delete your browser cookies at browser option.

Go to FB home page..
At bottom right - click help center..
From the list - click on Login & Password,,
Click on "I cant log inbto FB",,
then choose your reason..
You will see "not geting reset emails..
They will reply in a day or 3..
