Remotes usually lose often used button functions, the only way to get it back is by replacing the remote, or if you are technically inclined, you can take it apart and clean the inside.

I have a broksonic tv and a rca universal remote.. the remote wroks to turn the tv off and on and the volume and channel but i cant get the source button to work ?

• If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code Search method to program your remote.
• Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality.
This is a trial and error procedure; and quiet time consuming. You might have to check different codes said for your device.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

Volume does not work with remote

Tries take the remote aparts,if can, some u can't they're tighten and latches from the inside.Take a rag soak it with some rubbing achahol and clean the PCB board and the inner rubbers plastics knobs on the sheet of rubber plastics that make coonntact to the PCB board.U tries take out the battery awhile and put in a brand new set of battery, remote might work for the volume button again. If not the volume control pad rubber knobe inner plastic pad that press down on the circuit board might be worn out or not making good contact anymore to the PCB circuit board.Or the remote control CPU chip are slowly shorting out the first command it take out was ur remote volume control functions.Try website like Remotes.com to buy another the tv original remote.

My remoute control joust change the volume and anyother keys doesn't work.

The remote's volume keys are "punch-thru" keys, meaning they'll work for the TV for which the
remote is programmed no matter what mode the remote is in. It seems your remote is not
in "TV mode," but the punch-thru keys (volume UP/DOWN) are working.
The Solution: change the remote from "AUX mode" or "DVD Mode" back to "TV mode", by
pressing the "TV" button at the top of the remote.

Either that, or your remote keypad has failed with the exception of the Volume UP/DOWN keys....
Also, your batteries may be failing, since it takes a tiny amount of energy to light
the IR (infra-red) LEDs at the front of the remote to change the volume.
Is your remote a "multi-function" remote?
Could help more if you could post your Samsung remote model number, since
www.samsungparts.com lists 37 pages of TV remotes (at 10 models per page).

The remote does not work. My satelite remote

There is usually a remote module mounted on the inside of the front of the tv that senses the remote signal. This controls all functions of the tv. If you are not comfortable in troubleshooting this, I would recommend a repair center.
