I use it with voip (computer) and it updated by itself.

While holding down ‘Delete’, tap the ‘Down’ button. You will then be able to use ‘Up ‘ and ‘Down’ to set contrast, language, area code, time, and then date. Tap ‘Delete’ once your selection has been made on each item to move forward to the next.
Hope this helps you and any others as I had the same problem, and it took forever to figure it out.

Hold Delete Button and press Down Button! then press delete button that you can change anything!
