Mp3 Player no longer loading as a drive

My coby usb mp3 player model mpc855 512mb used to open as a drive like anyother i could drag and drop files copy patste ect. now die to some setting chnage or software installed recently, when i plug it in it say would you like to open this with win amo or media player and is not liste ad a drive in the explorer.

- When I used to plug the MP3 player into the computor it would notify me that the player was connected and I could load music without a problem. Now when I plug the MP3 player computor it lets me know that something has been plugged in, but I am unable to open the MP3 to download to it.- Guest

dear sir,

by any possible way you might have loaded any software which gets executed automatically, put mp3 on USB and use the driver cd came along with the player and format it . this may lead to loss of data but you player will work definatly

If you lost the sofware, go on www.cobyusa.com and type the model number of your device. Then, in the blue box, click on driver and software. You'll find everything that was on your cd.
