Re: Live Box

Unfortunately Microsoft's phone system at the call centre has this happen periodically. I have had to call back 2 or 3 times until I get a clear line and once I even waited a few more hours to call back until a different call center answered. Hope this helps

When a call comes in and I transfer to my boss' extension, incoming calls do not come through, caller states phone keeps on ringing. Also on that same extension calls do not transfer to voice mail.

  • Begin the transfer. With the caller on the line, press the "Transfer" key. The caller will automatically be placed on hold and you will hear a dial tone.
  • Connect the caller to the other party. Dial the extension of the party you wish to reach. When you hear the extension ring or after you've announced the caller, complete the transfer by pressing "Transfer" a second time. If the person does not wish to receive the call, press "Release" to disconnect from the dialed extension. Press the key beside the flashing arrow on the LCD indicator where the various lines are displayed to return to the caller.
  • Cancel an incomplete transfer. If you make an error when dialing and need to retrieve the caller, simply press the key beside the flashing arrow on the LCD indicator.

  • Park an incoming call. Parking a call at a designated extension allows the recipient to answer the call from any phone in the facility. With the caller on the line, press the "Park" key twice. If your system designates a particular extension for parked calls, the caller will be held at that extension. Otherwise, the caller is held at your extension. To specify an extension for a parked call, press "Park," dial the desired extension and press "Park" a second time. Replace the handset.
  • Retrieve a parked call. On any system phone, press "Park" and dial the extension on which the call is parked. You will be connected to the caller.

Magic jack contact number

As far as I can tell, Magic Jack doesn't have a public phone number. They have a knowledgebase and "live chat" support during various business hours. That will be your best bet for contacting them and having your issue resolved. Here is the URL:

Hotmail not receiving. Enable IMAP How?

Windows Live Mail is the desktop email application of Office Live, introduced with Windows 7. Windows Live Mail replaces Outlook Express in Windows XP and Windows Mail in Windows Vista. You can use Windows Live Mail to access most free email accounts, such as Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo Mail, as well as those offered by Internet service providers. You can also set up your IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) account to use Windows Live Mail.

Open the Office Live email application. Click "Start," select "Programs" or "All Programs" and select "Windows Live Mail" from the "Windows Live Folder." Go to the "Tools" menu and select "Accounts" to open the "Accounts" dialog box. If you do not see thetoolbar, press the "Alt" key to display it. Click the "Add" button, select "Email Account" and click "Next." Type in the complete IMAP email address, such as "" into the "Email Address." Enter the password for that account in the "Password" box. Enter the name you want displayed to email recipients in the "Display Name" box. Select the "Manually Configure Server Settings for Email" check box and click "Next." Select "IMAP" in the "My Incoming Mail Server Is" list. Enter "" into the "Incoming Server" box, replacing "ispname" with the name of your email provider. Type "" into the "Outgoing Server" box, replacing "ispname" with the name of your email provider. Click "Next" and then click "Finish." Hope this helps.

I can make and receive calls, but I cannot hear anything.

Check Windows Sound mixer for application volume. Down in system tray at right side of taskbar double click sound icon for XP or click sound icon once and click Mixer for Vista. Look through volume settings for your phone application. Make sure it is not muted and volume is up.

How to get product key of microsoft office?

Hi e_enginer,

If the office product is installed on your computer, your can go to HERE and download this program and let it run. It will tell you the unlock keys down towards the middle of the page.

If the product is not installed, The product key is usually on the sleeve of the CD or on the Box that the product came in. If you lost the box and the cd sleeve, then you have a lot of ground to cover to get a new one. First you'd have to have the reciept showing that you paid for it, then you can go to the MIcrosoft site and go to their customer service center HERE and choice Office, then from there answer a few questions, and you then have the option to email, live chat or phone a customer service person to explain your problem, and they will provide you with the next steps.

Then if you don't have a reciept, and it's not installed! Well, your #*#$ of Luck.

Good Luck
