White dots on a DLP are ALWAYS a DMD chip problem, you can find these online like at Discount-Merchant, they are easy to replace you can find videos on youtube, they are sometimes called DLP chip.

You might want to double check all of the audio settings within the menu to make sure is it not in the SAP mode (Second audio programming). Also make sure it's not selected to ext speakers.

Where is a the fuse in a rca model r52wh74

On the main power supply board. To get to it you will need to remove the back of the case and locate the power supply board ( follow the power cord to the board ) and it is next to the connector.
BUT, I doubt that is your problem because if the fuse is blown then there would be no lights.
