I have been using my DVD/CD-ROM on XP for a few months,
everything worked fine. Then just last week I ran into
some problems after installing some windows
updates......My NEC DV5800A 16x DVD/CD-ROM will only
recognise and play DVD ROM's(Discs) It won't recognise /
play audio or data CD's.....bit of a problem!!!! So far
nobody has been able to give me any help with a solution!
Any replies to the message have been from people with
similar or exactly the same problem also looking for a
solution!
I have tried reinstalling the firmware and all other
obvious (to me) fixes!!!
Can someone please help ASAP.
Thanks in advance!
